Last month, the Indiana Soil and Water Conservation Society held a Soils Health Symposium in Indianapolis with 200 participants. This was NRCS Chief Dave White's last presentation before his retirement on December 3.
The NACD Marketplace had an exhibit showcasing the "DIG IT - The Secrets of Soil" and "Soil to Spoon" education materials.
The symposium covered topics including: soil microbiology, economics of soil health, soil health efforts on mined lands, and on-farm network research.
