Congress will be heading back to DC in just a few days. If you have not already, take this opportunity to meet with your legislators in your home state! Ask your members to support locally-led soil and water conservation by cosponsoring H. Con. Res. 30 in the House and S. Con. Res. 10 in the Senate. This resolution (Click here for NACD press release) is an opportunity for conservation districts to be recognized by Congress for their work done to sustain natural resources, meet the needs of a growing population and ensure affordable, safe and abundant food, fiber, feed and fuel for current and future generations. The resolution’s success is dependent on you; we need you to act!
