Last week, NACD President Lee McDaniel attended the Montana Rangeland Tour hosted by the Rangeland Resources Executive Committee and the Madison Conservation District in Ennis, Montana. McDaniel addressed attendees of the event and provided updates on NACD's work and priorities heading into the new fiscal year.
The event showcased a variety of successful land stewardship projects through multiple area tours and engaging speakers. Topics covered included: alternative approaches to improve stream conditions and benefit grazing management, the benefits of annual monitoring, historic game range establishment to support livestock and wildlife, innovative ways to increase forage production, and how partnerships can lead to unique habitat improvement solutions.
